We go above and beyond to help patients understand their condition, stay engaged, and build confidence in a supportive environment. In this clip, respiratory therapist Elise Gonski is helping patients understand how to gauge their own effort using the Borg Scale – Rating of Perceived Exertion (RPE). Instead of just explaining it, we make it an interactive experience. Patients work through real-life scenarios like walking, carrying groceries, or climbing stairs, and determine where they fall on the scale.
