Viva Las Vegas! Bryan Miller & Abby Cohen, Managing Partners of Breathe Better Rehab, had a blast at the 3rd Annual Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers (APAPP) Conference in Las Vegas.

They discussed key questions shaping the future of pulmonary care, including:

  • What is telehealth pulmonary rehab?
  • What is the difference between synchronous and asynchronous virtual rehabilitation programs?
  • How can virtual care help overcome barriers that keep patients from accessing pulmonary rehab?

Attendees had the opportunity to view real footage from a live virtual pulmonary rehabilitation session from both the Respiratory Therapist and Patient perspectives. They also demonstrated the different types of respiratory exercises, muscle training, patient education, and clinical support incorporated in the program. Samples of the program documentation and progress reporting were also reviewed, along with how they are recorded remotely.

Thank you to all who stopped by the exhibit to learn more about how two-way virtual pulmonary rehab can help expand access far beyond the traditional 3-5% utilization rate!
